Built in 1873, the Woodside Hotel is located approximately 13 miles from Edinburgh International Airport and six miles from Dunfermline. This location is also seven miles from Kirkcaldy, 11 miles from Glenrothes, 25 miles from Stirling and Perth, 31 miles from Dundee, and 40 miles from Glasgow. Hotel amenities include the Woodside Restaurant (with traditional Scottish cuisine) and Clipper Bar Bistro. The hotel was built by the Greig brothers of Inverkeithing, whose family had connections with the Imperial Russian Navy. Original oil paintings of the Greig brothers adorn the reception area. All rooms feature private bathrooms, hairdryers, tea and coffee facilities, clock radios, TVs, and trouser pressers. Each room is individually decorated and furnished and named after a Scottish clan.
